The Microlife BodyGem and MedGem Analyzer software program has been upgraded from version 4.1 to 5.0.
Here’s some of the updates that have been made:
Version 5.0 only works with Windows versions 10 and higher.
If you have earlier versions of Windows, you need to continue to use Analyzer version 4.1
There used to be a button on the top menu to initiate a measurement using the software, when the optional data cable was connected to the device.
But since Windows 10 and higher don’t consistently sense the device properly, we decided to eliminate that option.
Simply run the RMR measurement without the indirect calorimeter connected to a computer and then enter the RMR# into the Analyzer software.
The reference to MyHealthLog was removed from the Analyzer client report.
MyHealthLog was a personal calorie tracker program that was offered to people to help them hit their Recommended Daily Calorie Budget. But given the number of programs in the market, some of which are free, we no longer refer people to MyHealthLog.
The Analyzer client report uses a picture of the new style BodyGem and MedGem.
The BodyGem and MedGem indirect calorimeters received a facelift. The BodyGem is now black instead of blue. They have a larger LCD panel and a more streamlined look.

It creates a three-page report for your client, that educates them on their metabolic rate, and gives them a Daily Calorie Budget which is based on their unique metabolism needs.

Current BodyGem owners can upgrade for $199; MedGem owners can upgrade for $249.
